Texas A&M and head coach Buzz Williams made a splash in recruiting on Monday afternoon, securing a commitment from Brimmer and May School shooting guard Andre Mills, ranked nationally among the 150 top players in the country.
Mills announced his decision on 247Sports’ YouTube channel with Adam Finkelstein, choosing between two other finalists Iowa, and Temple, ultimately going with the program that has been after him since the summer of 2021, taking an official visit to College Station on Sept. 16th of last year.
Mills will make the trek to Texas all the way from Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where during his junior season at Brimmer and May was named to the All-NEPSAC (New England) team for Class AA, and began shooting up the recruiting rankings to his current standing as the 129th ranked player in the class, and 25th ranked shooting guard according to 247Sports.
