The Wisconsin Badgers have been red hot on the recruiting trail as of late, and have now locked in an official visit with one of their top tight end targets in the 2023 class.
Yesterday, three-star TE Zach Ortwerth out of Saint Louis, Missouri announced that he would be taking an official visit to Wisconsin from June 3-5.
Per the 247Sports Composite, Ortwerth is the No. 663 overall prospect in the 2023 class, the No. 33 TE in the country, and the No. 17 player in the state of Missouri.
Last season, the Saint Louis University High School standout caught 20 passes for 298 yards and four touchdowns. Additionally, he registered 76 tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble on defense. You can watch his junior season highlights here.
The Saint Louis native also holds offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and West Virginia.
