Tennessee will open fall training camp Aug. 2.
The Vols will kick off its 2023 season Sept. 2 versus Virginia at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is slated for noon EDT and will be televised by ABC.
Sophomore running back Dylan Sampson enters his second season at Tennessee.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back has appeared in 10 games, recording 397 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, three receptions and 24 kick return yards at Tennessee.
He is listed as one of the fastest players for the Vols after being clocked at 23.0 mph on the Catapult system.
Sampson came to Tennessee from Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana.
