It is officially 2023 NFL Draft season as we enter the winter season. With the Cleveland Browns sitting at 3-7 on the season as well, there is more precedent to peeking at 2023 NFL Mock Drafts as well. In the Draft Wire’s latest mock draft done by Luke Easterling, the Browns landed Army pass rusher Andre Carter II.
While their glaring need is defensive tackle, they may be able to find one in the third round or later (with the assumption they also address the position in free agency). Guys like Illinois’ Johnny Newton and Alabama’s Byron Young must be high on their board.
Pass rusher, however, is also a need at a high-priority position as the Browns will move on from Jadaveon Clowney and Chase Winovich this offseason.
