2023 NFL mock draft: Broncos select OLB and WR in 3rd round

Touchdown Wire’s latest NFL mock draft has the Broncos selecting OLB Tuli Tuipulotu and WR Cedric Tillman in the third round.

In his latest three-round 2023 NFL mock draft for Draft Wire, Curt Popejoy has the Denver Broncos improving their depth at pass rusher and wide receiver.

The Broncos do not own first- or second-round draft picks this year, but they do hold back-to-back selections early in the third round. With the first of those picks (No. 67 overall), Popejoy has Denver selecting USC edge defender Tuli Tuipulotu.

Tuipulotu (6-3, 266 pounds) totaled 46 tackles (22 behind the line of scrimmage), 13.5 sacks, three pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 14 games with the Trojans last fall. He played defensive end in college but would likely transition to outside linebacker if drafted by a 3-4 team.

With their next pick (No. 68 overall) in Popejoy’s mock draft, the Broncos add Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman. His senior season was plagued by injuries, so Tillman (6-3, 213 pounds) was limited to six games last fall. In those contests, Tillman hauled in 37 receptions for 417 yards and three touchdowns.

Tillman is healthy now and teams will hope he can return to his pre-injury form. The receiver totaled 64 receptions for 1,081 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior in 2021.
