The Seattle Seahawks are continuing to add to their defense in the 2023 NFL draft. After selecting CB Devon Witherspoon last night, the Seahawks opened up round two by picking LB/EDGE Derick Hall with pick No. 37 overall.
Seattle needed to upgrade their defensive front from last year, and so far this offseason they have focused on it. Hall will look to supplement a defensive front which includes Dre’Mont Jones, Jarran Reed, Darrell Taylor and Uchenna Nwosu.
Hall also marks the final chapter in the Russell Wilson trade, as he was selected with the last Broncos draft pick included in last year’s blockbuster move.
Fan reaction online has been positive, as the 12’s are certainly pleased to see their team address their biggest weakness in a big way.
