Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane pulled the curtain back on his mindset ahead of the 2023 NFL draft regarding the possibility of a trade.
Currently the Bills are slated to be on the clock at the No. 27 overall selection in the first round.
With that in mind, Beane said he won’t be picking up the phone, or even really thinking about moving, until the 20th pick is up.
The Seattle Seahawks currently hold that slot, but the point Beane was making was that his decision on whether or not to move depends on how the first 20 selections fall.
“When it starts getting–we’re at 27–when it start getting to pick 20, you know, five, six, seven picks out, I think we’ll start to know whether there’s going to be someone there we should try and stay for, move up for, or move back and gain more picks,” Beane said.
And while Beane did leave every option on the table in terms of trading up or down, he said he believes a trade back is more likely, as of now.

Brandon Beane said they probably won't know until pick 20 if they'll trade ⬆️or⬇️but given they have limited picks trading back he'd consider.
