Four-star defensive lineman Ashton Porter will be making the trip to Austin on Saturday.

247Sports has Porter ranked as the No. 26 defensive lineman in the country and a top 50 player in the state of Texas.

Porter was a force to be reckoned with throughout his junior season at Cy Ranch High School, where he totaled 11.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles.

The 6-foot-3 all-district selection has already received offers from 18 schools, including Texas, TCU and Baylor.

Steve Sarkisian and his staff are focused on closing the 2022 class strong but also working to gain some momentum for the class of 2023.
