2023 FIBA World Cup: Latvia upsets and eliminates France in 88-86 comeback win

The Oklahoma City Thunder players went 2-1 in the second batch of group games in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

The latest win was relished by veteran sharpshooter Davis Bertans. Latvia eliminated France from the World Cup with an 88-86 upset win.

The 30-year-old finished with 15 points on 4-of-10 shooting from 3, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 24 minutes.

After trailing by 12 points entering the fourth quarter, Latvia came back for the upset win with a 26-12 fourth-quarter scoring advantage.

Latvia improved to 2-0 in group play with the surprising comeback. Latvia and Canada are unbeaten in Group H and will play on Tuesday.
