No. 8 Alabama (6-1, 4-0 SEC) will host No. 15 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1 SEC) at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday in Week 8.

Ahead of Week 8 contests, BCS Know How released Bowl Championship Series simulated rankings.

The BCS formula was used in the Football Bowl Subdivision from 1998-2013 to determine the top two teams to play in a national championship game.

Tennessee defeated Florida State, 23-16, in the inaugural BCS national championship game on Jan. 4, 1999, in the Fiesta Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel led Oklahoma to the 2000 BCS national championship, defeating Florida State, 13-2, in the Orange Bowl.
