With the addition of huge names to the 2021 and 2022 recruiting classes like Emoni Bates, Max Christie, Enoch Boakye, along with more local stars like Pierre Brooks and Jaden Akins, Tom Izzo has been on maybe the best recruiting stretch in Michigan State Basketball history, or at least close to it. However, we have not heard much yet from Izzo in terms of 2023 recruiting, but that is starting to change.
On Tuesday, it was reported by Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers that Curtis Williams Jr., the 5-star small forward out of Brother Rice, intends to visit the Spartans once it’s safely possible to do so.
Here is the tweet from Weingarten with the report:

Williams took an unofficial visit with Michigan State back in February, but six months later, his recruitment should really start to heat up. Williams describes himself as a Jayson Tatum style player and should be the top player in the state of Michigan for 2023.
