Earlier today, the lone scholarship recruit in Greg Gards’ 2022 recruiting class officially announced what number he’ll be wearing when he arrives on campus later in June.
The Indiana native announced via his Twitter account that he’ll be wearing No. 3 for the Wisconsin Badgers this upcoming season.
Per 247sports, Essegian is the No. 256 overall prospect in the 2022 class, the No. 34 shooting guard in the country, and the No. 11 player in the state of Indiana.
The three-star shooting guard comes to UW after finishing a storied prep career at Central Noble High School where he scored 2,526 career points, which ranks No. 10 on the all-time scoring list in the state of Indiana.
