2022 Seattle Seahawks’ win total, Super Bowl, conference and division odds

Analyzing 2022 NFL futures for the Seattle Seahawks, including odds for win total, Super Bowl and division with expert picks.

The Seattle Seahawks begin a new era without quarterback Russell Wilson, whom they traded to the Denver Broncos this offseason after posting the first losing season since 2011 and missing the playoffs for only the second time since Wilson entered the league. What comes next in 2022 is perhaps a rebuild. Below, we look at the Seattle Seahawks’ 2022 NFL futures odds – including win total, division, conference and Super Bowl odds at Tipico Sportsbook – with best bet suggestions among our NFL picks and predictions.

In addition to trading Wilson, the Seahawks also released LB Bobby Wagner after 10 seasons with the team. Three starting offensive linemen — Duane Brown, Ethan Pocic and Jamarco Jones — will not return as free agents. TE Gerald Everett and CB D.J. Reed both departed in free agency. They still have WR DK Metcalf, who had 75 catches for 967 yards and 12 touchdowns in a “down season.”

They acquired QB Drew Lock in the Wilson trade and re-signed QB Geno Smith. DT Shelby Harris and TE Noah Fant came over in the trade. They re-signed S Quandre Diggs and RB Rashaad Penny, and they signed free agents CB Artie Burns, CB Justin Coleman and DL Quinton Jefferson.

In the NFL draft, they selected OT Charles Cross in the first round and added DE Boye Mafe, RB Kenneth Walker III and OL Abraham Lucas on Day 2 of the draft.

Seattle Seahawks’ 2022 win total: Best bet

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday, May 17 at 7:45 a.m. ET.

Over/Under: 5.5 (O: +115 | U: -140)

The Seahawks have not had fewer than 7 wins in any season since Pete Carroll became Seattle’s head coach. Lock went 4-9 as a starter in 2020, and Smith went 1-2 starting last season when Wilson was injured.

Seattle doesn’t appear to be going for a full rebuild, and even though they appear to be the weakest link in the NFC West, they still have games against the Giants, Jets, Panthers, Falcons and Lions, all of which are winnable games. They will sneak a game or two in the division, so they are likely looking at six or seven games.

Bet OVER 5.5 (+115).

Seattle Seahawks’ 2022 Super Bowl odds

Odds: +10000 (bet $100 to win $10,000)

The Seahawks are long shots. They are tied with the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, New York Giants, New York Jets, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars for the second-longest championship odds in the NFL. The Houston Texans have the longest odds at +20000 and the only team with longer odds.

The favorites to win the Super Bowl this next season are the Buffalo Bills (+600) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+700).

At +10000, Seattle has an implied probability of winning the Super Bowl of 0.99% or 100/1 fractional odds.

Nope, run far from this bet. If they are riding with Lock or Smith at quarterback, the chances of being a .500 team are slim, much less win a championship.

PASS.

Seattle Seahawks’ 2022 playoff odds

Will Seahawks make the playoffs: Yes +450 | No -649

The Seahawks are clearly the worst team in terms of talent on the roster in the NFC West. They don’t have a proven starting quarterback. They lost their defensive leader and their best cover corner. They don’t have a consistent pass rush.

They aren’t making the playoffs, but at these odds for no, it isn’t worth a wager. They have 86.65% implied odds of not making the playoffs.

PASS.

Odds to win NFC West Division

  • Los Angeles Rams +135 (bet $100 to win $135)
  • San Francisco 49ers +175 (bet $100 to win $175)
  • Arizona Cardinals +320 (best $100 to win $320)
  • Seattle Seahawks +1300 (bet $100 to win $1,300)

The Seahawks finished last in the division last year, and that was with Wilson at quarterback. Their implied probability of winning the division is 7.14%. The Rams understandably are the favorites to win the division, and both the Cardinals and 49ers could contend, but unless Seattle does something else at quarterback, they have no shot. PASS.

Odds to win NFC

Odds: +5000 (bet $100 to win $5,000)

The Seahawks are tied with the Lions, Bears and Falcons for the longest odds in the conference to win the conference. Their implied odds of winning the conference are 1.96%. If they aren’t going to make the playoffs, they certainly can’t win the conference. PASS.
