The New York Giants are coming off a thrilling victory this past Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium.
With that win, it improves New York to 4-7 and keeps them alive in the NFC East chase. Just ahead of them, the Philadelphia Eagles are 5-7 and the Washington Football Team is 5-6.
At 4-7, though, the Giants are still in the top-10 of the projected order for the 2022 NFL Draft — they are currently being projected to pick sixth overall.
With the Chicago Bears winning on Thanksgiving Day over the Detroit Lions and improving to 4-7, the Giants would also have the seventh overall pick, according to Tankathon.
The irony of the current projected picks for the draft is that the fourth and fifth overall picks belong to the New York Jets — that fourth coming by way of the Seattle Seahawks.
After the Giants’ two picks, the Eagles have the eighth and ninth overall selection — the ninth pick coming by way of the Miami Dolphins, who Big Blue plays in Week 13.
There are a lot of moving pieces with the draft order.
