2022 NFL draft: Bills to have top-30 visit with Texas A&M’s Isaiah Spiller

2022 NFL draft: Bills to have top-30 visit with Texas A&M’s Isaiah Spiller:

The Buffalo Bills might have running back high on their board as we approach the 2022 NFL draft.

According to Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson, Texas A&M running back Isaiah Spiller will have a pre-draft top-30 visit with the Bills.

Spiller, while not related to former Bills first-round pick CJ Spiller, is still a top prospect at his position heading into the draft.

CBS Sports tabs Spiller as their third-best rushing prospect in 2022 while our friends at Draft Wire have projected Spiller as high as a second-round pick.

Spiller is a 6-foot-1 rusher that could be a fit for Buffalo. Per NFL.com, he is a bit of an all-around type of back with “good elusiveness.”

However, it’s noted that Spiller also sometimes lacks “finishing with authority.”

Unfortunately for Spiller, he did not have the best performances at the recent scouting combine. That could keep his stock down, but perhaps the means the Bills could find a way to pick him on Day 2 of the draft.

Spiller might profile like the type of player that could potentially be a replacement for Zack Moss as a bigger running back than Devin Singletary out of the team’s backfield.

In 2021, Moss fell off and was a healthy scratch at times.
