The Buffalo Bills have selected Virginia Tech offensive lineman Luke Tenuta in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft. He comes off the board at the 209th overall pick.
Tenuta is similar to some other offensive lineman selected by the Bills in recent years. At 6-foot-8, Tenuta joins an offensive line with Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle.
Like Tenuta, both Brown and Doyle are 6-foot-8 and up. Brown and Doyle were picked by Buffalo at last year’s draft.
The Draft Network called Tenuta a swing tackle prospect that can be a backup on both sides of the O-line.
However, Tenuta’s arm length of 32 inches might make him better suited to play at guard in the NFL. He can still likely play on both sides of the line, as referenced, even at guard.
Regardless, Tenuta has to tool box to potentially battle for playing time at multiple spots along the team’s offensive line. The Bills often tout the importance of versatile in offensive line players.
