This is the first Mexico Open on the PGA Tour schedule. The Vallarta course, designed by Greg Norman, opened in 2015 and now features 106 bunkers.

Cameron Champ (+600)

The 26-year-old Californian, who began the tournament at +6000 to win, starts the final round 2 strokes back at 13-under 200 after rounds of 66-67-66. The 150th-ranked Champ has 3 career titles.

Kurt Kitayama (+1000)

The 29-year-old pro opened the tournament at +10000 to win and his now just 2 strokes from the lead. He was tied with Rahm after Round 1 with a 7-under 64 and followed that with 70-68. The 384th-ranked Kitayama is seeking his first title since joining the tour in 2015.
