The Oklahoma Sooners recently picked up a commitment from Raleek Brown out of Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), and now the focus could be shifting to the defensive side of the ball. At this point, the only commit on that side is Kobie McKinzie, a linebacker out of Lubbock, Texas.
Defensive coordinator Alex Grinch and defensive line coach Calvin Thibodeaux could be adding to their 2022 class. Four-star defensive tackle out of North Shore in Houston, Texas, has recently released his top four schools. Ross lists fellow Big 12 schools Baylor and Texas along with Oklahoma in his top four. The other notable school being Louisiana State. Ross also hinted that he could be setting a commitment date on Friday, Feb. 19.

Oklahoma offered the defensive tackle on Feb. 2, and have already jumped into the conversation. This could be a huge addition to the class with the big boys in the middle of the defense.
