While we are still months away from the 2022-23 college basketball season, the schedule continues to be updated for teams with opponents.
And on Friday, the annual ACC-Big Ten Challenge matchups were revealed, giving us an early look at some matchups for late November.
Each year, the two conferences meet in the challenge with teams facing off against each other. The conferences try to avoid pitting the same two teams against each other each year although you do see some cases of rematches, including this year when Duke and Ohio State meet. They also try to spread out the home and away matchups, giving teams a fair shot at hosting other teams they normally wouldn’t.
This year’s challenge features two big matchups with North Carolina heading to Indiana while Ohio State takes on Duke. Other intriguing matchups include Michigan State at Notre Dame and Purdue at Florida State.
