2021 NFL Draft: NFC West Roundup from rounds 2 and 3

The NFC West was busy on day 2 of the draft, accounting for 7 total picks in rounds 2 and 3 for the Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals.

Round 2, Pick 49: WR Rondale Moore, Purdue

With their only pick of the night, the Cardinals acquired one of the draft’s most talented receivers in the 5-foot-7, 181-pound Moore. Despite his small stature, Moore flirted with first-round projections entering the 2020 season before opting out (then opting back in) but was unable to reach his production from his fantastic freshman-year campaign that earned him the Paul Hornung Award for the nation’s most versatile player.

Nevertheless, his Pro Day measurables, which included a 4.29-second 40-yard dash, convinced the Cardinals that he has the potential to become a star on their roster, particularly with the anticipated retirement of longtime Arizona receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
