The former 2017 first-round pick from Clemson continues to elevate the franchise to new heights. His touchdown passes are tied with Dak Prescott and Jimmy Garoppolo for the fourth-most in the NFL. Lamar Jackson is outplaying Watson this year, but that is about it. When factoring in wins and the fact Houston is on the cusp of making the playoffs, there’s hardly anyone better than Watson. The one stat where Patrick Mahomes is better than Watson is passer rating: 106.2 to 100.4. Other than that, Watson is second to Jackson, which means he ought to earn a Pro Bowl spot.
