Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers were road underdogs to the Cleveland Browns and nearly pulled on a big win without a huge number of starters. This week it’s the rematch in Pittsburgh and the oddsmakers have the Steelers as six-point favorites over a Cleveland team in disarray.
BetMGM had the Steelers as five-point favorites when the line opened but the number has since grown to six due to the problems the Browns are having. On Tuesday, Cleveland announced their head coach Kevin Stefanski had tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to be at the playoff game on Sunday.
In their Week 17 matchup, Pittsburgh chose to rest quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, center Maurkice Pouncey and defensive end Cameron Heyward. This week, in addition to those starters, Pittsburgh should get several other players back from injury and be close to full strength.
