I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t necessarily thrilled with this pick. Not because I don’t believe in Tee Higgins as a prospect, but because I’m not sure how a team like the Saints would value him.

Would Sean Payton and company prefer more of a field-stretcher like Jalen Reagor to complement All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas? That’s possible, but I also feel like Higgins could have that success as a complementary No. 2 option for Drew Brees.

Higgins doesn’t win with separation, but he does win by excelling at the catch point and out-muscling opposing defensive backs for 50-50 balls.
