26. Miami Dolphins – D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
By the time that Dolphins fans get to this pick, they’re probably going to be upset at me for not targeting a defensive player in the first round (Tagovailoa at No. 5, Becton at No. 18).
Similarly to the Raiders with Josh Jacobs in the 2019 draft, I believe having three first-round picks could give Miami the flexibility to secure a true three-down, workhorse running back for the future — it worked out for the Raiders, didn’t it?
The Dolphins can’t survive with what the currently have at the position. After they traded former Alabama running Kenyan Drake to the Cardinals, his expected replacement, Kalen Ballage, proved to be one of the worst running backs in the NFL.
