KJ Hamler | Penn State

Hamler is a slot target who had a standout season for the Nittany Lions. At 5-foot-9, he’s a player who works to find space in the intermediate game and he’s not going to ever be a “go up and get it” type of player. However, he has the ability to break out and stretch the field vertically, as his 16.8 yards per reception figure from this past season reveals. He’s a great route runner. Hamler’s size, though, would be a concern for the Bills, as the team is in need of bigger bodies on the boundary, plus in the short term, Cole Beasley will reign supreme in Buffalo’s slot.

Michael Pittman Jr. | USC

PIttman, Jr. seemed to catch everything thrown his way, as he concluded his senior season with 101 catches. His 1,275 receiving yards led the PAC-12 and his 11 touchdown receptions were good for second in the conference. At 6-foot-4, he has an advantage against cornerbacks on back shoulder and contested-catch passes. He was a Biletnikoff finalist (for the best collegiate wide receiver) and named a first-team, all-conference players. Like Aiyuk, Pittman’s stock seems to be all over the place. However, he’s more less likely to be a first-round pick, he’ll go off the board in the second or third round.
