Here are seven WRs the Bills can consider in the second round of the 2020 Draft.

Chase Claypool | Notre Dame

Claypool is a big target, measuring in just shy of 6-foot-5 at the recent scouting combine. That size is just the type of addition many pegged for the Bills offensive this offseason. Diggs was added, but he doesn’t have size, so addressing that need is still on the table for Buffalo. That size gives Claypool and advantage against smaller cornerbacks, as he more frequently wins contested catches out wide. During his season year, he reeled in 66 passes for 1,037 receiving yards and 13 touchdown receptions. Claypool was once thought of as a third or fourth rounder, but his ridiculous combine, highlighted by a 4.42-second 40-yard dash time at his size has him shooting up draft boards.

Brandon Aiyuk | Arizona State

Aiyuk put up big numbers last year, averaging 18.3 yards per receptions on 65 catches. He scored eight touchdowns as well. He’s a good route runner who finds space easily, providing an easy target for his quarterback. Aiyuk is strong after the catch, gaining chunks of yards after the reception. He breaks out well when he gets into space with the ball. Aiyuk’s stock does seem to be all over the place, though. In some mocks, he’s off the board late in the first round. In others, he could be as low as the third round. Buffalo lands right in the middle of those.
