Jordyn Brooks | Texas Tech
Brooks was another tackling machine in this group, culminating with 108 total tackles during his senior year. He’s aggressive, as he finished this past year with 20 tackles for loss. Aside from a solid tackler, Brooks moves into the point of attack well, taking good angles of pursuit. He’ll have to develop his coverage a bit more as he moves into the next level. Brooks displayed at the scouting combine that he’s got speed to his game, notching a 4.54 second 40-yard dash time, the seventh-best among linebackers.

Malik Harrison | Ohio State
Harrison is an aggressive player. On tape, he attacked downhill very well, limiting opponents’ running games. He moves well in space; Harrison can also change directions easily. Harrison’s skill set lends well to playing multiple positions. His coverage skills will need to be expanded at the professional level. He recorded 75 total tackles and 4.5 sacks last year. Harrison showed at the scouting combine that he’s an athlete, too. His vertical jump of 36 inches was the sixth-best among linebackers which his 6.38 3-cone drill was the position group’s best.
