The 2020 NFL Scouting Combine is already underway this week as several of college football’s top players compete in front of NFL evaluators, scouts and draft analyst.

Thursday marks the first day that a group a players — the quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends — will be participating in on-field drills and works, including the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and a lot more!

With former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa forced to miss this portion of the combine, there will be only two former Tide standouts who will be participating in the on-field drills on Thursday, wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III.

The events are set to get underway at 4:00 p.m. ET (3:00 p.m. CT), and you can catch those live on the NFL Network!

While Jeudy is expected to post impressive numbers, it’s Ruggs who has caught the attention of most people as the 40-yard dash approaches.

There have been a lot of people recently to predict that the 5-foot-11, 188-pound speedster who break the record for fastest time, which was a 4.22 set by former Washington receiver John Ross in 2017.

Ross then went on to be the No. 9 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Could breaking the record set by Ross help vault Ruggs into being a top-10 selection come draft day? It’s certainly possible, especially considering there are already NFL draft analysts who are predicting Ruggs to be the first receiver off the board.
