Full Recap: Aztecs head to 10th title game in 12 years

The Aztecs struggled a bit against Boise State and overcame a 16-[point deficit to tie the game at 40 at the break. That surge kept going in the second half as San Diego State slowly pulled away vs. Boise State.

Defense was key for San Diego State to win as the allowed the Broncos to shoot 57.7% from the field in the first half. In the second half, the Aztecs held the Broncos to 23.3%.

San Diego State was led by Malachi Flynn who finished with 22 points, five rebounds, and five assists. KJ Feagin had 21 points and six rebounds.

No. 2 Utah State 89, No. 11 Wyoming 82

The Cowboys’ dream run came to a halt on Friday night, though Wyoming did hang around for much of this game. Though the season is sadly over for Allen Edwards’ club, the team should be extremely proud of their two wins in Las Vegas.

The Aggies, meanwhile, move on to face San Diego State for the Mountain West Championship. Utah State’s NCAA Tournament hopes may depend on a win over the Aztecs.
