Just because Virginia will not be playing Georgia on Sept. 7 doesn’t mean the Bulldogs won’t be facing anyone in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Kick Off game. Therefore, we are keeping to our original countdown.
There are 39 days until Georgia is scheduled to kick off in Atlanta.
Former Georgia defensive back, No. 39, Corey Moore (2011-2014) appeared in 50 games over his career in Athens. From Griffin, Georgia, the former 4-star recruit was rated as the No. 4 safety in the 2011 recruiting class. At Georgia, Moore totaled 76 tackles, 2 interceptions, three pass breakups and one sack and was a defensive leader of Georgia’s 2014 team that finished 10-3.
Moore went undrafted in 2014, but signed with the NFL’s Houston Texans in 2015 where he played three seasons before playing for the Indianapolis Colts in 2018. Moore is currently a member of the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL.
