The Philadelphia 76ers could be getting a boost in future seasons in the shooting department and they won’t need to worry about the draft or free agency to do it.
Serbian shooter Vasilije Micic, the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, has a decision to make for his future. He is under contract with his current team in the Euroleague, Anadolu Efes, until 2021. However, the shooter appears to have NBA aspirations.
After a breakout season with averages of 14.5 points and 5.8 assists, while shooting 40.0% from deep, Micic is narrowing down his future basketball options to the NBA or Anadolu Efes. The Sixers currently do own his rights, but there will be other NBA teams in play for him.
Vasilije Micic on his future: „Anadolu Efes or the NBA – it's the only scenarios I have for the next season“.
Micic, who played his career season (14.5ppg, 5.8apg), is under the contract with Efes until 2021. His NBA rights owned by the Sixers, but more NBA teams are after him.

Everybody knows about this team’s need for a shooter and Micic fits that mold. He’s also a guy who can put the ball on the floor a bit and create for himself if he has to. He would be a nice fit for this team.
Micic has said in the past that he will not come over to the NBA unless he gets playing time and that will be tough on this Sixers team between Furkan Korkmaz and Tobias Harris, but who knows how this team will look in the offseason? Whenever that is. Nevertheless, Micic would still be a good addition to the team. [lawrence-related id=30655,30647,30640]
