The Arizona Cardinals have had a pair of players they released in the last few days land with other teams. According to the NFL transaction report, tight end Jordan Thomas, released on Saturday, and cornerback De’Vante Bausby, released on Monday, were both claimed off waivers.

Thomas lands with the New England Patriots and Bausby returns to the Denver Broncos, for whom he played before the Cardinals signed him.

Thomas signed with the Cardinals practice squad in September and was elevated to the active roster. He appeared in four games, played two offensive snaps and had a three-yard touchdown reception against the Carolina Panthers. He was released Saturday when Maxx Williams was reinstated from injured reserve.

Bausby was signed in Week 8. He played 16 snaps on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and had a tackle. He returns to Denver, where he played four games earlier this season. He had five tackles and three pass breakups.
