Rule breaker
Fromm’s intangibles are well known. He’s among one of the most-praised leaders in college football in recent memory.
But Fromm’s got a bit of a bad boy streak in him. Well, maybe just this one time.
With his poor combine in mind, Fromm wasn’t able to improve upon his numbers at his pro day due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In order to do his due diligence, Fromm, like new Bills teammate Zack Moss, tried to do a virtual workout for teams. But it got shutdown because he was breaking lock down rules.
According to Dawg Nation, Fromm got in trouble in his hometown. Prepping for a virtual workout, Fromm went to his old high school field, McConnell-Talbert Stadium in Warner Robins, Georgia. The school superintendent ended up driving by and saw what was going on. He shut it down.
Bad, Jake!
But honestly, the way the scenario was described is kind of funny.
“I drove by McConnell-Talbert Stadium, and noticed a truck backed up to the fence, with the tailgate down,” superintendent Dr. Mark Scott said. “It looked as if someone had jumped the fence and then dragged a table to the fence so others could more easily get into the stadium.”
Can’t say Fromm isn’t trying.
For what it’s worth, there were about six people there with him and no charges were filed. At some point, Fromm did get some work done, as shown below. March 18 was supposed to be Georgia’s pro day, but it was cancelled.
