12 listed on Dolphins’ first injury report ahead of Week 4 matchup with Bills

A key starter on both offense and defense didn’t take part in practice.

In preparation for their Week 4 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins held their first practice on Wednesday at the Baptist Health Training Complex.

Miami listed 12 players on their first injury report of the week.

Five players were non-participants – left tackle Terron Armstead (back/ankle/knee), wide receivers River Cracraft (shoulder) and Erik Ezukanma (neck), linebacker Jaelan Phillips (oblique) and center Connor Williams (groin).

Limit participants included running back Salvon Ahmed (groin), safety DeShon Elliott (ankle/groin) and tight ends Tyler Kroft (back) and Durham Smythe (hamstring).

Cornerback Eli Apple (neck/concussion protocol evaluation), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (concussion) and tight end Julian Hill (ankle) all practiced fully.

The good  news is defensive back Elijah Campbell, defensive lineman Raekwon Davis, wide receiver Tyreek Hill and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel were all off of the injury report after appearing on it before last week’s game.

Miami and Buffalo will kick off on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium.
