And kicks

While jean collecting is certainly interesting, Jefferson has a more commonly practiced one in footwear. Jefferson recently told The Athletic that he owns more than 300 pairs of sneakers. At one point, he carried more than a dozen boxes over to his locker in the Seahawks facility. Jefferson explained his apparel collecting of sorts is something that developed over time within himself.

“My parents will tell you, they never would have thought I’d be into clothes and shoes,” he said. “My mom is like, ‘You used to get shoes and just go hoop in them or go play in them or drag your feet in the dirt.’”

But Jefferson also uses this passion for positive reasons. Along with sneakers, Jefferson makes his feet know via the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign. One of his designs he’s done was made to bring awareness to gun violence in his hometown of Pittsburgh. Via The Seattle Times, Jefferson highlighted his cleats with the initials of 28 fallen friends in December of 2018:
