Training camp social distancing
Once more, the NFL is sticking to their guns: Things are (currently) slated to go on as planned, that includes training camp. However, the league did send a memo to teams and tell each to implement anti-coronavirus measures when training camp begins. Simply put: Social distance when you can, even if that means changing up locker rooms, and even take other measures like sanitizing.
McDermott, rightfully so, is taking all of that very serious.
“That was my biggest concern yesterday. We walked through, we took about two or three hours and walked through what would be the best plan for training camp with our ops staffs as well,” McDermott said. “Overall, it’s just awareness and making sure we’re doing right by everyone involved here.”
