McDermott on Diggs
While Stefon Diggs is a huge piece to the Bills’ puzzle, McDermott dished his thoughts and sounded like he’s taking a simple approach to the new star wideout. While Diggs is known, McDermott said he’s starting things off from the ground level with Diggs, treating him almost as just any other player.
“For me, I’ve really enjoyed (meeting him),” McDermott said. “We start with a clean slate. I’ve enjoyed getting to know Stefon and I’ve enjoyed getting to know his background, a little about his family. I know he’s a big workout guy. I think just with any good relationship, it starts with building that trust and that trust begins with that respect and mutual respect.”
