Josh Allen update

Of course there isn’t a presser, espeically one in the offseason, without discussing Allen in length. Following up more on Allen, McDermott called Allen’s role in gathering his teammates together for workouts a “critical step” in his growth as a team leader. The QB has also been a leader in video meetings, too.

“His influence is still being felt through the Zoom meetings. The example just last week [Florida workouts], and also I had a chance to dial in and listen in on some of the Zoom meetings, I try to spread myself around, but I do spend some time in that quarterback room and Josh’s, No. 1, an example, to the other guys.

He’s in there, he’s dialed in with (quarterbacks) coach (Ken) Dorsey, and I would really say all of them are, it’s impressive,” McDermott said.
