Seeing the offense workout together

McDermott didn’t take any credit for his players getting together recently for workouts, namely the chunk of players on offense that were down in South Florida. Probably a good thing since it’s against NFL rules for McDermott to be involved in that.

But naturally the coach was happy to see his players making the effort to get together. McDermott credited not only Josh Allen, but the entire QB room, including Matt Barkley, Davis Webb and Jake Fromm, for playing a part in getting everyone on the same page.

“That was driven by our players and driven by Josh Allen and the quarterback position. The neat thing about that was that so many guys showed up,” McDermott said. “Just outstanding. A big step for Josh Allen and his leadership.”
