Not playing in front of fans

It could soon become a reality, but many are hoping it won’t. Allen is among them.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus battle, will fans be able to attend NFL games in September? Who knows at this point. Allen said it certainly would be a bummer not to play in front of Bills Mafia. But he added that maybe it’ll bring guys back to old times for a bit as well .

“I’ve given it a lot of thought, it’s going to be tough [if there are not fans],” Allen said. “To have that noise and have that third-down defense be out there…it’s going to be different.”

“We’ll see, it’s going to be a learning curve, like a Pop Warner football game,” Allen added. “Maybe at the same time it’ll be a little nostalgic for the guys and it’ll just be about football, playing the game for the love of it.”
