Jacob Silva*

Record: 6-2
Age: 32
Height: 5’5″
Birthplace:
Houston, Texas

[autotag]Jacob Silva[/autotag] has flown under the radar since his professional debut in 2014. During his first three years as a pro, Silva was relatively inactive – only fighting three times from November 2014 to September 2017. When the clock struck midnight on New Years’ in 2018, Silva held a 2-2 record. Over the span of the next 26 months, Silva would go 4-0 with four finishes. He’s currently riding a six-fight winning and finishing streak and holds the Fury FC flyweight title. The 125-pound weight class is always in need of finishers, which may have contributed to his DWCS, Season 4 contract offer.

Nate Smith

Record: 6-0
Age: 24
Height: 5’6″
Birthplace:
Chicago, Ill.

Watch out for [autotag]Nate Smith[/autotag]. Aptly nicknamed “The Savage,” Smith wreaked havoc on the Midwest regional circuit before turning his attention to LFA. At LFA 82 in February, Smith made a successful promotional debut when he finished undefeated Sean Stebbins by second-round ground-and-pound. The finish was his first career knockout, Smith’s fourth finish in a row, and kept his undefeated record in tact. It’s no wonder Smith has been evolving at such a high clip. Training at Elevation Fight Team, Smith is getting world-class coaching in a prime fitness climate. Don’t be surprised if Smith graces DWCS this summer – be surprised if he doesn’t.

Other flyweights to watch out for: Cee Jay Hamilton, Ricky Calatayud, Eduardo Diez, Daniel Barez, Santos Curatolo, Carlos Candelario, Cristiano Souza, Russell Mizuguchi, Carlos Hernandez, and more.
