Miami Dolphins
The good with the bad
In terms of COVID-19 and players, it’s been busy in the AFC East. But not in South Florida. The Dolphins are actually the only team in the division to not yet have a player opt-out of playing in 2020. Dolphins players have until Thursday at 4 p.m. to do so though. There could still be someone on their roster who decides to.
But it wasn’t all roses for the Dolphins in terms of health in the past week. The Dolphins placed cornerback Xavien Howard on the PUP list to start 2020’s training camp. He had knee surgery this offseason. According to Dolphins Wire, Howard is on-track for the start of the regular season, but this is an injury that’s followed Howard for a few years.
