Denver Broncos – OL Conor McGovern
The Chargers are no strangers to pulling away offensive linemen that played for the Broncos. In 2017, they snagged offensive tackle Russell Okung after spending a season with Denver. That same year, Los Angeles also signed Michael Schofield, who played with the Broncos for three seasons.
McGovern, a fifth-round pick of the Broncos in 2016, would be an excellent addition an offensive line that’s in need of a boost. The 26-year old started 23 consecutive games for Denver at center. Prior to playing center, McGovern played at right guard for two seasons, offering positional versatility.
McGovern was the 10th-best center in the NFL last season, according to Pro Football Focus. His 82.5 pass-blocking grade was the fifth-highest in the league. In addition, McGovern was one of only three offensive linemen to play over 600 snaps without amassing a single penalty in 2019.
