1 late Dolphins play won a bettor $100,000 on Dolphins-Patriots 7-leg parlay

A bettor miraculously won almost $100,000 off a $1,500 Same-Game Parlay wager on Sunday. thanks to a late Miami Dolphins TD.

Sometimes, the gambling gods smile upon you.

For one bettor at Caesars Sportsbook on Sunday, luck was certainly a factor in cashing a $1,500 seven-leg Same-Game Parlay ticket in the Miami Dolphins-New England Patriots game.

Here were the seven legs of the bettor’s ticket:

  • Dolphins -6.5
  • Over 41.5
  • Tyreek Hill Anytime TD
  • Raheem Mostert Anytime
  • Jaylen Waddle Anytime
  • Tua Tagovailoa 3+ Passing TDs
  • Kendrick Bourne Anytime TD

As he has done many times this season (eight to be exact), Hill scored a touchdown — this time in the first quarter. Bourne also scored a TD in the first quarter, which was important for the bettor, as Bourne left the game with an injury in the fourth quarter. Mostert scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter, which cashed three legs for the bettor.

But there was still a lot of work to be done late in the fourth quarter. The Dolphins were up 24-17 (so covering the -6.5 spread, but the game was still UNDER the total of 41.5) and got the ball back with 8:30 left in the game. Tagovailoa had two passing touchdowns, so he needed another one for the bettor to win.

Miami proceeded to pick up three first downs and had a 3rd-and-1 at New England’s 31-yard line. A first down would almost seal the game, but instead the Dolphins ran a play-action pass and Tagovailoa hit none other than Jaylen Waddle for a wide-open 31-yard TD.

That touchdown meant that Waddle scored an anytime TD, Tua had three passing touchdowns and the game went OVER the total of 41.5.

The bettor won $99,000 off of a $1,500 wager. Not a bad Sunday at the office.
