New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson joined thousands of others on social media on Tuesday by thanking the healthcare workers around the world for their remarkable efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
Tuesday marked World Health Day as many took to social media to show gratitude to those on the frontlines of the coronavirus each day, from nurses and doctors to first responders. The theme of the 2020 World Health Day is to focus on celebrating the work of nurses and midwives.
Williamson showed love to those individuals in New Orleans and all across the world during the collective effort to slow the spread of the virus and flatten the curve.
