NBA 2K22 is now live for fans to play, and the one commonality every year that gets fans intrigued is how the player ratings stack up.
For the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James is the highest overall on the team, and across the league, as he boasts a 96 overall. Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry are the only other players with that same rating.

Similar to how James disagreed with the ratings allotted to Durant and Curry, saying they deserved a 99 instead, Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans is on the same boat for James.
In an episode of “Just Playin’ with Taylor Rooks“, Williamson explained why he’d give James a 99 overall:
“Off respect and what he’s done for the game, I’d give LeBron a 99. What he’s done for the game, nobody else has done. So I give respect when it’s due.”
James is coming off a year where he averaged 25.0 points, 7.8 assists and 7.7 rebounds despite dealing with a high-grade ankle sprain later on in the year. He was a legit MVP candidate before that injury, which never got back to full strength even after he returned.
Now James will need to bounce back in the upcoming season. A healthy Anthony Davis is slated to be by his side along with newly acquired star Russell Westbrook.
