Zion Williamson named the greatest NBA jersey of all-time

The No. 1 overall pick was among the players to weigh in on the greatest NBA jersey of all-time.

Over the history of the NBA, teams have had quite a few different looks with different jerseys and colorways. With so many different options, the conversation of choosing the best one is often difficult to do.

Yahoo Sports compiled a video with several NBA players weighing in on their favorite jerseys of all-time as teams from the Utah Jazz to the Chicago Bulls earned some love.

No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson was among those players to sound off in the video as the New Orleans Pelicans rookie chose the black pinstriped jerseys the Orlando Magic donned in the mid-1990s.

“I think the greatest NBA team jersey of all-time would have to be the 90’s Magic black uniform with the stripes,” Williamson said.

Aaron Gordon, Goran Dragic and Wilson Chandler were among the other players that agreed with Williamson. The Magic jerseys became wildly popular with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway and Nick Anderson on the team at that time.

The black pinstriped jerseys were the Magic’s primary road uniform from the franchise’s inception in 1989 until 1994. They used them as an alternate look from 1994 until 1998 when they were retired as part of a rebranding to a different look.
