New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson appeared in a new Gatorade commercial released on Wednesday alongside several other athletes as more professional sports begin to return to action this month.
Williamson starred alongside Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper, Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley and Olympic track and field athlete Sydney McLaughlin in the commercial.
The athletes in the ad are depicted as being excited to just be playing anything again after sports shuttered for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic. Williamson is seen playing a variety of sports, including baseball, tennis, golf and hockey.
Of course, the NBA is set to return on July 30 as Williamson and the Pelicans face the Utah Jazz in the first game back while the WNBA will tip-off the 2020 season on July 25 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The opening day for MLB has been set for July 23.
