Patrick Queen exited Baltimore stage left, taking his talents to Pittsburgh to join their AFC North rival, Steelers.
One reason the Ravens didn’t break the bank centers on former Clemson linebacker Trenton Simpson and the vast potential he brings to the defense alongside Roquan Smith. Following Tuesday’s practice, new defensive coordinator Zach Orr had high praise for Simpson, calling him a “physical player” who’s gotten even more explosive since last season.

Simpson gave a preview of his potential in the season finale against Pittsburgh, logging seven tackles and one sack on 26 snaps played in the rain.
A third-round pick in 2023, Simpson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds at 6 feet, 2 inches, and 235 pounds. He’ll be even heavier in 2024 without losing any explosiveness.
