The Cincinnati Bengals turned a few heads this week on an early injury report when they listed quarterback Joe Burrow as a full participant with an elbow issue.

There hasn’t been much in the way of updates since, but reporters understandably asked about it near the end of the week before the team travels to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was dismissive of the topic, telling Jay Morrison of The Athletic that the elbow is “Not even on my radar.”

So that closes the door on that, though fans were plenty right in raising an eyebrow at the whole thing. It would seem the Bengals felt the need to list Burrow at all to comply with league rules, though it’s now a non-factor.
